We are pleased to announce that Dr. Lawrence H. Summers, former U.S. Secretary of the Treasury and one of America's foremost economists, has joined SandboxAQ’s advisory board. Dr. Summers' unparalleled expertise in government and the financial sector will be instrumental in advancing the deployment of our advanced AI platforms with U.S. and international customers.

Dr. Summers currently serves on several boards including OpenAI and Skillsoft, and advises companies including D. E. Shaw & Co. and Citigroup.

Dr. Summers' distinguished career includes serving as the 71st Secretary of the Treasury during the Clinton Administration, where he oversaw the longest period of sustained economic growth in U.S. history and left office with a national budget surplus.
As the former Chief Economist of the World Bank, Dr. Summers consistently demonstrated his exceptional ability to steer complex economic policies. His leadership in addressing international financial crises in the 1990s – from Mexico to Russia to Japan and other emerging Asian markets – underscores his global economic influence and acumen.
Dr. Summers has co-chaired major international panels ranging from the G20 Independent Expert Group on Strengthening MDBs to the G20 High Level Independent Panel on Pandemic Preparedness to the Council on Foreign Relations study group on the Transatlantic Relationship and the Center for American Progress’ Commission on Inclusive Prosperity.
Dr. Summers is President Emeritus of Harvard University, and is currently the university’s Charles W. Eliot Professor and Director of the Mossavar-Rahmani Center for Business and Government. His contributions to academia are widely recognized; he was elected to the National Academy of Sciences in 2002 and has published over 150 papers in scholarly journals.
He also serves as Chairman of the Center for Global Development, Vice Chairman of the Peterson Institute for International Economics and an advisor or board member for numerous non-profits and public policy organizations.
Recognized as one of the world's most influential thinkers by TIME, Foreign Policy, Prospect, and The Economist magazines, Dr. Summers continues to shape national and global economic policy through his speeches, television appearances, newspaper columns, and public commentary.
