Fostering Growth in
Quantum & AI Education

While quantum technology was once a field primarily reserved for university research, it is now an area of active commercial focus. For the past six years, SandboxAQ has been forging strong links between industry and academia to meet the soaring demand for quantum and AI-trained researchers and engineers. Together, we’ll ensure that graduate students and PhDs emerge with the real-world, practical, and relevant experience they need to apply to their academic endeavors, secure cutting-edge careers in the quantum industry, and create a more inclusive quantum ecosystem.

SandboxAQ is driving innovation by delivering AI+Quantum (AQ) solutions to address some of the toughest research, business, and computational challenges across a broad range of industries. These include financial services, healthcare, telecommunications, government, and more. We're also expert educators with a passion for creating effective academic programs and improving their access and outcomes with technology.
Our Charter: Enable millions of people and institutions around the world to develop and use AQ technologies to impact the world in positive ways.

What We Offer

University Partnerships
Jointly develop curricula, certification programs, and educational bootcamps in AQ-related subjects. Promote joint guest lectures and technical/research presentations on-campus and at SandboxAQ. Invite university faculty to serve as academic advisors for SandboxAQ projects. Support PhD/faculty white paper and journal article development, and offer faculty teaching fellowships.
Residency Programs/PhD Sponsorships
Provide Masters, PhD, and postdoctoral students with practical, hands-on experience working with cutting-edge AI and quantum solutions to supplement their education in areas such as Post-Quantum Cryptography, Quantum Simulation, Quantum Sensing, and AI. Sponsor and mentor PhD candidate research in AQ technologies and provide practical applications for their research.
